Notice on the Youth Technology Talent Corporate Visit and Exchange Programme

Hong Kong Information and Artificial Intelligence Association will organise a series of corporate visits and exchange activities for university student representatives in Shenzhen between 13 and 18 August 2026.
To further strengthen the integration of education and industry, promote the effective alignment of high-calibre innovative talent development with industry practice, and broaden young students’ understanding of artificial intelligence, digital technologies and emerging industries, the Hong Kong Information and Artificial Intelligence Association will organise a series of corporate visits and exchange activities for university student representatives in Shenzhen between 13 and 18 August 2026.
The programme will feature visits to leading technology enterprises in the fields of embodied intelligence, smart Internet of Things (IoT), intelligent imaging and digital technologies. Through corporate visits, technology demonstrations, hands-on experiences, professional exchanges, talent dialogues and university-industry engagement, participating students will gain first-hand insights into emerging technologies, corporate innovation, industry applications and talent requirements.
The programme also aims to encourage students to connect their academic studies with technological innovation and real-world industry practice, while providing useful reference for their future research experience, internships, employment and career development.

(1) 13 August | Embodied Intelligence and Smart IoT
Shenzhen Yushu Innovation Industrial Centre
The visit will focus on artificial intelligence, embodied intelligence robotics, and low-altitude and unmanned systems. Through demonstrations and hands-on experiences with humanoid robots, intelligent robotic dogs and other technologies, participants will learn about developments and industry applications in areas including environmental perception, motion control, human-machine collaboration, smart environmental services, industrial park inspection, industrial inspection and emergency response.
Shenzhen DAS Intellitech
The visit will focus on the application of artificial intelligence and IoT technologies in smart spaces. Participants will learn about DAS Intellitech’s AIoT intelligent IoT platform and its applications across smart industrial parks, green hospitals, urban rail transit systems and green data centres.
(2) 14 August | Intelligent Imaging and Artificial Intelligence
Insta360 Headquarters
The visit will focus on intelligent imaging, computer vision and artificial intelligence. Through an exhibition tour and hands-on experience with panoramic imaging and smart hardware products, participants will learn about technological innovation and industrial applications in panoramic imaging, VR, AI algorithms and intelligent imaging devices.
(3) 18 August | Digital Technology and Talent Development
Tencent Binhai Building
The delegation will visit Tencent’s global headquarters at the Tencent Binhai Building. Through exhibition tours and technology showcases, students will learn about the practical applications of digital twins, artificial intelligence, intelligent audio and video technologies, and digital culture across a range of industry scenarios, gaining a broader understanding of the integration of digital technologies with the real economy.
During the talent exchange session, Tencent’s human resources team will engage with students on topics including talent selection criteria, campus recruitment processes, corporate talent culture, professional capability development and career planning.
The session will help students better understand the skills and competencies sought by leading technology companies and support them in clarifying their academic priorities, personal development goals and future career directions.
VI. Important Notes
- Participants are required to arrive punctually and follow the arrangements made by the Association throughout the programme.
- Participants must comply with all on-site management, safety and confidentiality requirements of the host companies.
- Photography, recording or external dissemination of information relating to technology R&D, internal materials or restricted areas is prohibited unless prior permission has been obtained from the relevant company.
- Participants are expected to maintain appropriate conduct and actively engage in technical exchanges, talent dialogues and interactive discussions.
- Participants are responsible for safeguarding their personal belongings and should pay due attention to personal and travel safety throughout the programme.
- Detailed visit times and itinerary arrangements are subject to the Association’s final confirmation. Any subsequent changes will be communicated through the latest official notice issued by the Hong Kong Information and Artificial Intelligence Association.
